On 12 September 2016 a 61-year-old woman from Hawthorn was arrested following an investigation by my office. The woman who is employed as a public officer has been charged with 74 counts of abuse of public office. The alleged conduct occurred between July 2012 and July 2016.

A 62-year-old man from Malvern was also arrested and has been charged with aiding and abetting the abuse of public office in relation to the same alleged offences. The man is not a public officer.

Both persons have been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at 10am on 4 November 2016.
