A report made to the Office for Public Integrity that was assessed as raising a potential matter of corruption, was investigated by my office and a brief of evidence provided to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

As a result a 44-year-old man was charged with one count of making a false declaration under the Oaths Act 1936. The offending is alleged to have occurred on 13 December 2013, at which time the man was a public officer residing at Leabrook.

The matter will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday 1 December 2016.
